College Annual Prize Giving Ceremony 💗🏆

This was held on 1st of November 2019. The ceremony was held at Bamford Hall of the College. Awards and prizes were given in appreciation of the talented students of the college in the years 2017 and 2018. Dr. H.G Sujatha P. Hewagigana, Lecturer
in Institute of Indigenous Medicine, University of Colombo was the Chief Guest at the event. Mrs. K.G.C Senani, Lecturer in Faculty of Management, University of Rajarata was the special guest alumnus. The Principal welcomed the invited guests, parents and prize-winning students. The festival was colorful with special features from the college dance and music sections. The students were evaluated under several sections. 👍💪💗


Subject prizes were initially awarded according to the relevant grades. Thereafter, the scholarship examination and the evaluation of the students who excelled in the GCE Ordinary Level examination were also held. The All Island winners in Music, Art, Dance and Drama were then evaluated. Here I was also awarded. I received these victories for the All Island victories there. 👌💜

A special event took place here. I mean, I was awarded the Best Instrumentalist in the College Oriental Music category in 2018.  Many of my friends were recommended here and all of them received awards and certificates. This was a special occasion for me. We all wore saris and joined in on this.✌💙

No one forgot to take photos of the moment when everyone came together. Nipuni Wathsala Kodagoda was adjudged the Best Ripponian of the Year 2018 at the event.

The invited guests addressed the gathering and told the students to work diligently and make life successful. It is a special thing to enter a new school and receive such an award. This day will undoubtedly be a special day that will never be forgotten in life. It will be the biggest achievement in school life. Everyone received a book with the winners of the entire ceremony as a memento.💖💪

That was the happiest day of my life. Opportunities like these will be very important for our progress.👊

Again with all these victories all parted in the hope of meeting next year.

Trip to Demodara & the Nine Arches Bridge  We went on that trip with the student of Sangeethanjalee Music Academy. It's  5 th of January 2018. The first meeting of the Matara team of the University 💗👊💪 We have known each other for more than a year. We took video calls and text messages every day. We had a separate WhatsApp group.😜 There we all talk and make suggestions about our meeting. Everyone liked that proposal. We waited impatiently until we had seen one another. So, we set aside a day for that and worked on it. There we first agreed to perform a Bodhi Pooja.🙏💜 We proposed a day for this on 22nd Of December 2021. At 1.00 pm on that day everyone wanted to gather near the Matara Bo tree. As we discussed, everyone gathered at that place at that time.  It was a little hard to recognize because I saw them all first. Mine Sister's Engagement Day

This is the most precious day of my sister's life.😍😍😍  The day the sister got engaged..💑  Despite the corona situation, We were able to make that day beautiful.💪 That was the day when my sister's hopes were fulfilled.. My sister was dressed like a beautiful bride that day. 👰 Just like a pink doll..💝 So when you see that, you feel a lot of love and greed..💕 The couple received blessings from both sides.🙏. It was the 8 years love between my sister and brother that blossomed. I saw a lot of her happiness that day..😘😘 Because she got the matching person..👌👌👌 They also did a beautiful photo suite that day.. As a large crowd could not gather, only a small group of people from both sides participated..😒😒 So did not forget to make a beautiful cake model.🙊..It's beautiful and very very tasty...😋😀.
